What precautions have been taken on the Harwich to Hook of Holland route?

On our Harwich to the Hook of Holland route, the following steps have been taken to provide a safe sea crossing for all our passengers. Additional precautionary safety and hygiene measures have been applied to all Stena Line ferries. There have been restrictions of the passenger capacity introduced to guarantee social distancing.

We also have limited the number of onboard outlets available.

The gaming tables are closed but slot machines can still be used throughout the ferries provided you observe the social distancing rules. It is not possible to exchange coins for bank notes.

With the closure of the Metropolitan restaurant, guests are encouraged to make use of the Taste buffet restaurant instead. For customers who have an existing reservation for the Metropolitan, simply present your booking confirmation at the till at the Taste buffet restaurant and redeem the amount originally spent. Please note that there are no refunds, guests will need to spend the entire amount from their original reservation.
