Why didn't I receive any attachment with my reservation confirmation email?


Please note that some e-mail reader software has a security set-up that prevents attached files from being displayed and opened.


In Outlook Express you need to go through the security set-up to allow attached files to be downloaded.  You can use the menu to select the "Tools / Options".  Then open the "Security" tab.  In the section "Virus protection", there is a check box that must be blank to avoid the blocking of attached files.


Other e-mail readers have similar a set-up which you need to activate. Stena Line uses the porular Adobe PDF format and the files we send cannot be infected by a virus. If you need to download Adobe Acrobat, you can do so for free at
